As human knowledge broadens, we know today how science & physics work for Yoga. By joining movement with breathing, we help to send oxygen into more parts of our body and thus we revitalize them, we give them life. Flexibility of muscles and tissues work as an anti-block to this flow of oxygen, which directly transforms into energy. This process, has a profound impact on the way our body works as a whole.

A familiar starting point for most people, is to work on the outermost of our personality, the physical body. When imbalance is experienced at this level the organs, muscles and nerves no longer function in harmony; rather they act in opposition to each other.

Imagine, a false signal from the pineal gland which controls emotions, could affect the thyroid, which in turn if disordered, will work with a false metabolic rate. Τhis restrain of nutrients will end up giving a command to the adrenaline gland to overreact, as it gets the message that something is wrong. This is exactly what happens to our body when we feel stressed. What happens next, is that excessive stress, shuts off the function to all the major organs: the immune, endocrine, digestive and reproductive systems are all shut off. Nutrients (O2) seem not to be enough for the whole system. How long will our body last under this pressure in the long run?

Yoga aims to bring the different bodily functions into perfect coordination, so that they work for the good of the whole body. This is done through the practice of asana, pranayama, mudra, bandha, shatkarma and meditation, as a means of balancing and harmonizing the body, mind and emotions.

We make sure that your instructors will be people who are willing and able to deliver the authentic essence of Yoga, people who will inspire you and will be taught by you at the same time.

Yoga will be offered on a private basis, in small or larger group classes and through workshops that will be occasionally designed, organized and presented to you through our website.
